description. format festival is a new music and arts festival put on by c3 productions in bentonville, ar. the festival is different from other so-called music and arts festivals in that it puts a heavy focus on the art, whether it's installations, performance art, or the stages themselves. kdi was brought in by david weiner design as part of a team of associates for the festival site lighting, to handle some of the sitewide networking and integration, as well as to be a rotating stage ld on three of the stages.
